Business Leaders Forum is the flagship event of the 18th ICBM and is planned to be held on 10th of December 2021 at Hotel Galadari, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The forum will be enriched with the presence of leading professionals and founders of six high resilient local business organizations of our time, cautiously selected to share their success stories amidst the COVID -19 pandemic. It is expected to develop and publish insightful local business cases in collaboration with them.
SAARC Leaders Forum
The purpose of the forum of leaders in the SAARC countries is to discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economies of the SAARC region, on business organisations and their resilience strategies. This is organized in collaboration with the University Grant Commission, Sri Lanka. The COVID-19 crisis has triggered an economic fallout that will drive millions into poverty and worsen inequality. Amid the mounting human and economic toll, South Asian countries have ramped action to curb the health emergency, protect their people, and set the stage for recovery. This event will discuss impact of COVID-19 on the stability of the financial sector, trade and supply chain activities, foreign remittances, and opportunities for greater regional cooperation in crisis management. The discussion will be held with the participation of different representatives of all SAARC countries such as leading academics, policy advisors, and civil society leaders.

Business Leaders Forum
The Business Forum is even more exciting as we intend to bring out six exiting corporate journeys of their own through pandemic as meticulously and scholastically developed case studies. It is expected to publish and share cases on resilience strategies of the selected organizations during the COVID–19 pandemic which will be a collaborated effort involving both academics and industry participants. We believe that all teachers and learners will be able to benefit from these case studies as learning aids developed within the Sri Lankan context. Business cases will be developed on the following organizations:
